Jobnect works without an account. Your resume and career stay in this browser by default; our servers only handle what a feature you choose or agree to needs.

1. What we process, why, and for how long
There is no sign-up. We process the information below only when you use the related feature. We do not collect national ID numbers or sensitive personal data.

- Salary, resume files, names and phone numbers are not stored for alerts.
- The service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
2. Information kept only in your browser
Your career, resume and job text, saved jobs, interview notes, offer amounts and check history are kept in this browser’s storage and are not sent to Jobnect servers. By default they disappear when you close the tab; they persist only if you choose “Save on this device”. Use “Clear my inputs” at the bottom of the page to delete them anytime.
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties, except where the law specifically requires it or an investigative authority requests it under legal procedure.
4. Processors and international transfers
We use the providers below to run the service, so information is transferred abroad. Transfers happen over encrypted connections when you use the related feature.

- To avoid a transfer, do not sign up for alerts, do not run Claude analysis, or decline visit statistics. Only that feature becomes unavailable; everything else keeps working. Visiting the website itself requires processing by the hosting provider.

5. How we delete information
Information past its retention period is deleted automatically every week. Electronic records are deleted so they cannot be restored, and database recovery history expires within 6 hours. We do not keep personal information on paper.
6. Your rights
- You can ask to access, correct, delete or stop processing your information, and withdraw consent, at any time. Email hello@jobnect.app and we will respond within 10 days.
- Turn off alert emails instantly with “Turn off alerts” in any email.
- Manage data in this browser with “Clear my inputs”, and visit statistics with “Visit statistics settings”.
- You may also act through a representative, with proof of authorisation.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics and Meta cookies and Vercel Web Analytics run only if you allow visit statistics. If you do not, no statistics cookies are set. You can turn them off anytime under “Visit statistics settings” at the bottom of the page or in your browser settings.
8. Security measures
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Each feature uses its own database account with the least privilege it needs.
- Access secrets are kept out of the code in encrypted environment variables.
- Resume text and analysis responses are not stored on the server; usage limits and feedback keep only one-way hashes.

11. Changes to this policy
This policy applies from 27 October 2026. We will post any change on this page before it takes effect.
